Dianna Barrow, Founder & CEO at PulseSphere Agency

Dianna Barrow

Founder & CEO

Dianna Barrow founded PulseSphere after more than fifteen years working across every side of the book business — first as a literary publicist, then as a marketing director for an independent press, and later as a brand consultant helping authors, publishers, and media partners find the right readers. She has led launch and relaunch campaigns for debut novelists, business thought leaders, and established names across fiction, memoir, and nonfiction, and has built lasting partnerships with independent publishing houses, author services companies, and brand teams. Dianna's approach combines editorial judgment with paid media discipline: she designs strategies that protect an author's reputation while driving measurable sales, reviews, and audience growth. She speaks regularly at publishing conferences and advises authors on building sustainable careers, not just one-off launches.

Idris Afolabi, Head of Strategy & Digital Growth at PulseSphere Agency

Idris Afolabi

Head of Strategy & Digital Growth

Idris leads campaign strategy at PulseSphere, translating each author's positioning into measurable growth across search, social, and email. A certified digital marketer (Coursera, Semrush) with a background in electrical and electronic engineering, he brings an analytical, systems-driven approach to book marketing — mapping keyword landscapes, building conversion funnels, and structuring paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Amazon, and Google. Before joining the agency he ran independent SEO, website development, and social media strategy engagements for clients in technology, fashion, real estate, and education, giving him a cross-industry playbook most publishing marketers simply don't have. Idris owns the strategy behind every launch: audience research, competitive benchmarking, content architecture, influencer outreach, and the reporting cadence that keeps campaigns honest.

Camila Reyes, Head of PR & Podcast Tours at PulseSphere Agency

Camila Reyes

Head of PR & Podcast Tours

Camila spent six years as a publicist at Hachette before joining PulseSphere to build out our PR and podcast tour division. She's placed clients in The New York Times, NPR, Good Morning America, and on every major literary podcast worth being on. Her superpower is matching the right author to the right host — not just any host with reach. She built PulseSphere's proprietary podcast-fit database, tracking audience demographics, host chemistry, and historical book-sales lift so every booking is a strategic placement, not a spray-and-pray outreach.

Kelly Sean, Co-Owner & Head of Paid Media at PulseSphere Agency

Kelly Sean

Co-Owner & Head of Paid Media

Kelly Sean co-owns PulseSphere and leads paid media and performance analytics, bringing a data-first mindset to every author campaign. With a background in digital advertising, conversion-rate optimization, and statistical analysis, she treats each book launch as a measurable growth experiment — designing ad funnels, bidding strategies, and attribution models that connect spend directly to sales, reviews, and category rank. Before co-founding the agency's paid division she managed performance marketing accounts across e-commerce, SaaS, and education, developing playbooks for scaling campaigns while keeping acquisition costs under control. Kelly built the agency's real-time Amazon ranking dashboard and runs the weekly optimization sprints that cut underperforming placements fast and double down on what moves the needle. As co-owner she also sets the agency's standard on honest reporting: authors see the raw numbers, good or bad.
